January 24th is shaping up to be a big night for The CW! With recent announcements that Legends Of Tomorrow will be changing nights to be aired after The Flash , The CW has also released The Flash Season 3 Episode 10 trailer.
News has also broke that Barry and team will face off with Plunder the first half of the end of season 3 and Gorilla Grodd in the second half. Combine that with everything going on in Savitars story line and it appears as if things are going to get really dicey for Barry and team Flash.
The tail end of the forst half of season 3 we saw Wally West get his speedster powers but with so many threats coming in at once and Iris's life in danger, it appears as if team Flash will turn to Justice League member Gypsy for help.
Below you will find some back story for Plunder and Gypsy
Born in a mirror world, created by Mirror Masters technology, he was a bounty hunter and mercenary who worked for the Thinker. The Thinker realized the nature of the universe they inhabited, and that the three outsiders trapped within it, Flash, Captain Cold and the Mirror Master, could be used to allow him to escape into the real world. Plunder captured Cold and the Mirror Master for the Thinker, but the Flash managed to free them. When the three returned to the real world, Plunder somehow managed to get to the real world, escaping the destruction of his own.
Gypsy’s basic power is casting illusions. She mainly uses it to camouflage herself. This makes her, and anyone she touches, virtually invisible.
While her powers are supposed to be telepathic, she’s:
- been shown to be invisible to cameras even when the viewers aren’t in her immediate vicinity
- affected one of Professor Ivo’s androids, and created illusions for its camera to carry a fair distance away [beyond her Range]
Gypsy can also use her power to make targets see themselves in a completely different environment. She thus managed to distract Despero, even though he knew what she was doing. Some are terrified into immobility, while stronger minds will lash out at the illusions.
She doesn’t use this ability as often as she could. This might be due to the uncomfortable memories of the situation in which it first manifested. She usually only uses it on a single target. This often is the person who triggered the intense emotional reaction which makes her lash out with the power.
She’s also fairly agile and stealthy, and has had some combat training.
